Planning Commission Vacancies
Applications are being sought for two vacancies on the City of Lakeport’s Planning Commission. This is a four-year term. The Planning Commission, consisting of five members, currently meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers. Qualified applicants must be a resident of the City of Lakeport. However, one Commissioner can reside within the Lakeport Zip Code area (95453) subject to City Council approval.
The Planning Commission reviews matters related to planning and development and is the City Council’s advisor on land use planning matters. The Planning Commission considers such things as the General Plan, Rezoning, Use Permits, Subdivisions, Architectural and Design Reviews, planning policy matters and interpretations.
