The City of Lakeport will be holding a General Municipal Election on November 4, 2008, to fill three City Council seats for a four-year term expiring in November, 2012. To be eligible to hold office as a City Council Member, you must be a registered voter residing within the City limits of the City of Lakeport. You may register to vote if you are currently a United States Citizen, will be at least 18 years of age at the time of the next election, and are not in prison or on parole for a felony violation. The registration deadline is 15 days before an election to qualify to vote in that election.
