ER 10-02: 48-Unit Senior Apt. Project @ 1075 Martin St. (694kb) Initial Study/ Environmental Review of the proposed project, which includes the construction of 48 residential units intended to be occupied by income-qualified senior citizens. The project will include eight two-story structures, including seven apartment buildings and one community center building with two second floor apartments. All buildings will be under one roof structure. Related site improvements including on-site parking, landscaping, and a storm water retention area are also proposed.
The City of Lakeport has recommended the adoption of a Mitigated Negative Declaration for this project. A 30-day public review period for the Mitigated Negative Declaration will commence on July 17, 2010, and end on August 16, 2010, for interested and concerned individuals and public agencies to submit written comments on the document. Any written comments on the Mitigated Negative Declaration must be received within the public review period. Copies of the Mitigated Negative Declaration are also available for review at City Hall, 225 Park Street, Lakeport.

The Pacific Companies are a group of firms specializing in the development, design, construction, and operation of affordable workforce housing throughout the western United States. With particular emphasis on the use of the affordable housing tax credit as well as federal, state, and local resources including HOME Funds, Community Development Block Grants (CDBG), and redevelopment agency financing, the companies develop and rehabilitate multi-family and senior citizen housing in California, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, Nevada, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington.
